The Making of When the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Rochelle Rose asked if I would be interested in directing a Storyline Online featuring Seth Meyers reading his own childrens’ book I’M NOT SCARED, YOU’RE SCARED! I jumped at the chance. Not only would I get to work with comic genius Seth Meyers, but we would be filming in 30 Rockefeller Center - 30 Rock! - with the mission of turning a sterile conference room into a winter wonderland.
I reached out to Production Designer Amy Matthews who brought on Set Decorator Jennifer Mara and they absolutely knocked it out of the park - the amount of camping gear, logs, woodsy trinkets, paper flowers and streamers that they created, sourced and brought in on dollies to transform the space was incredible.
I also had the opportunity to work with Houston based musician Charlie Harrison through his Moontown Sounds label as he and The Mighty Orq created an inventive, guitar based score for the episode.
Dissemination With a digital library of more than 100 videos, Storyline Online is used by teachers in classrooms, by parents at home and on mobile devices, and is endorsed by leading organizations including the American Federation of Teachers and the American Library Association.

Peer Review The 2022 season of Storyline Online received a Children’s and Family Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Short Form Program.
The 2nd Children's and Family Emmy Awards were presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), to honor the best in American children's and family-oriented television programming in 2022 and 2023. The eligibility period ran from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023, mirroring that of the Primetime Emmy Awards.
As a director of 3 episodes of the 2022 season, I was thrilled to be among the nominated team.
