About HALF THE PICTURE is a feature documentary celebrating the groundbreaking work of female and nonbinary film directors that also investigates the systemic discrimination that has denied opportunity to many talented directors in Hollywood.

Peer Review HALF THE PICTURE was selected as one of 110 features, out of over 13,000 submissions, to premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and went on to screen at over 100 festivals including SXSW, San Francisco International Film Festival, THESSALONIKI Documentary Festival, HOT DOCS in Toronto, SYDNEY Film Festival and others. HALF THE PICTURE was acquired for distribution by Gravitas Ventures and received a nationwide theatrical release on June 8, 2018, with a broadcast debut on the STARZ Network on October 23, 2018. HALF THE PICTURE is represented for international sales by Cat & Docs based in Paris, France.
